News & Events Beason & Nalley, Inc. Announces Jeremy H. Jeffreys, CPA, Has Been Promoted to the Position of Owner
Jeremy's attestation experience is with small to larger companies and includes government contractors, manufacturers, local governments, not for profit organizations, manufacturers, employee benefit plans, construction companies, and other diversified privately held companies. Jeremy has a strong background in audits of local governments. His experience includes preparation of Comprehensive Annual Financial Reports in conjunction with the Government Finance Officers Association’s Certificate for Excellence in Financial Reporting Program, performance of Single Audits in compliance with the Office of Management and Budget Circular A-133, and assistance in preparation and submission of Data Collection Form. With government contractor clients, Mr. Jefferys' experience includes revenue recognition and unbilled receivable issues, contract and billing review, indirect rate calculation and analysis, overall financial presentation from a GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principle) and government regulatory aspect. Jeremy earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration with a major in accounting from the University of Alabama in 1998. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, a member of the Alabama Society of Certified Public Accountants, and a member of Government Finance Officers Association.
